To simplify working processes and produce the same product repeatedly by using a silicone resin frame substrate formed of a heat foamable silicone resin adhesive.

Firstly, lines of a character, a symbol, figure or a pattern (hereafter called figure or pattern or the like) 2 are drawn and contoured 3 by using a heat-foamable silicone resin adhesive, on a substrate 1. Next, the contour line 3 representing the lines of the figure or the pattern or the like 2 is heated to cause the heat-foamable silicone resin adhesive to foam and thus the adhesive is caused to cure and adhere to the surface of the substrate 1 to obtain a foamed silicone resin frame substrate 4. Next the space 5 of the contour figure or the pattern or the like 2 is filled with a colored vinyl chloride resin 6, which is caused to cure, and further, the space 5 and an adjacent space are filled with the colored vinyl chloride resin 6 so that these respective resins come into contact with each other. Further the resins 6 are caused to cure and colored to draw a picture. Finally the cured colored vinyl chloride resin is peeled from the silicone resin frame substrate 4 to obtain a plastic decorative article 7.
