PURPOSE: To manufacture a base body integrated with solid lubricant without using any adhesive by sticking as inserting the solid lubricant into inserting holes in a lost foam pattern, forming facing material layer at the outer circumference thereof and replacing the lost foam pattern in molding sand with molten metal for the base body.

CONSTITUTION: The lost foam pattern 1 composed of foamed synthetic resin having the same shape as the base body in a complex sliding member is formed by arranging plural inserting holes 1a to one side of plate surface. By inserting under pressurizing the fixing the solid lubricant 2 (graphite as essential component) into the inserting holes 1a, the lubricant built-in pattern 6 is formed, and by applying the facing material on the whole outer circumference thereof at about 50°-105° Be concn. and drying, the facing agent layer 7 is formed. This pattern 6 is charged into a casting box 11 and embedded into molding sand 8 while forming the suitable runner 9 and sprue 10 and vibrated to make a mold containing the lost foam pattern. Successively, the molten metal is poured from the sprue 10 and caused to flow to the position of lost foam pattern 1 through the runner 9 and the complex sliding member integrated with the base body and solid lubricant 2, is formed without fluidly shifting the solid lubricant 2.
