CONSTITUTION: An alloy to form a matrix is housed in a crucible 1 and is heated into a molten state. After that, an addition material is charged to the molten metal and stirring is executed by a stirring rod 2. At this time, vibration of about 10 to 50KHz frequency is applied to the crucible 1 by vibration means 5. In this way, the addition material is rapidly diffused into the molten metal without forming lumpy residue, by which the homogeneous composite material can efficiently be obtd.
