PURPOSE: To manufacture a composite plate having no warp by setting a water content of an MDF to be lower than a water content of a hardwood veneer and a softwood plywood, layering them in sequence through an adhesive, and utilizing a contraction difference caused by change of the water content in heating and pressing.

CONSTITUTION: A water content of an MDF 1 is made to be in an absolute dry condition of 3% or less and a noble veneer 2 is stuck to the MDF 1. A water content of a hardwood veneer 3 and a plywood of softwood veneers 4, 5, 6 is set to 6-15% which is an air-dried state. The MDF 1, the hardwood veneer 3, and the plywood of the softwood veneers 4, 5, 6 are layered through an adhesive and heated at a temperature of 120°C and pressed at a pressure of 8kg/cm2 so as to produce a composite plate. Accordingly, generation of a warp on the composite plate can be prevented.
