PURPOSE: To intend less variation and high precision of a bending angle at the tips of set comb-type teeth by giving age hardening treatment to a pin material which is obtained by bending the tips of the comb-type teeth using a mill-hardened material.

CONSTITUTION: A BeCu mill-hardened material is formed by etching into comb- type teeth. The tips of the comb-type teeth are bent and made into a pin material 13. The pin material 13 is given heat treatment and precipitation-hardened. The pin material 13 is temporarily molded with liquid crystal polymer. Then, the temporarily molded is polymerized into a pin material 16 which is approximated to the pin material 13 in shape, and really molded with liquid crystal polymer 17. The rear end is cut into a required length and finally ground and tapered to manufacture a contact pin.
