Abstract:

To manufacture a continuous metallic fiber sintered sheet which is capable of improving the productivity, free in setting the sintering time, and excellent in thickness accuracy.

A sintered sheet material W1 delivered from a delivery reel 15 of a delivery part 1 in which a metallic mesh sheet and a metallic fiber nonwoven sheet are layered, is introduced into a heating furnace 5 while intermittently repeating the movement and stop by the drive and stop of a winding part 4, and moved on a receiving base 7 in a sliding manner. When the winding part is stopped, the sheet is pressed and sintered by lowering a flat weight plate 8 on the receiving base 7, and again, moved and stopped by elevating the flat weight plate 8, and again pressed and sintered by lowering the flat weight plate 8, and this operation is repeated. A sintered portion is fed to a cooling part 3 and cooled, and then, led outside the cooling part 3, and wound around a winding reel 16. In the cooling part 3, the sheet is pressed by rolls 14, 14 to achieve the fine adjustment of the thickness.
