Abstract:
PURPOSE: To produce a multilayered sheet containing a foamed layer whose foams are hard to collapse, having a smooth surface and rich in adhesiveness.
CONSTITUTION: Crystalline polypropylene (A) [m.p.; 144°C, MFR (230°C); 1.8g/10min] forming (a) layer, a modified polypropylene polymer (C) [m.p.; 160°C, MFR (230°C); 2.0g/10min] forming (c) layers on both sides of the (a) layer and a polyamide resin [m.p.; 225°C, heat deformation temp.; 182°C] forming (b) layers on both outsides of the (c) layers are subjected to co-extrusion using separate extruders and passed through a five-layer multimanifold type T-die to form a core foamed multilayered sheet (total thickness; 3.4mm) of layered constitution b//c//a//c//b. In the molding of the (a) layer, the (a) layer is foamed by 4.5 times while CO2 is injected in the extruder from the vent part thereof under pressure of 3.5kgf/cm2. Therefore, the surface smoothness of the obtained core foamed multilayered sheet is 'fine' and the adhesiveness between layers is also 'fine' and the total evaluation is 'fine'.
