Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the coupling strength and to easily perforom an automatic work on the subject armature by a method wherein a cylindrical armature winding and a commutator are arranged in a metal mold, the armature winding is deformed by applying pressure, and after the winding is coupled to the commutator, they are electrically connected using a laser beam. CONSTITUTION:The cylindrical armature winding 13 is placed in a die 22 and a commutator 14, having a segment 16 on an insulated substrate 15, is arranged on the inner circumference end surface of the armature winding 13. In addition, a core metal, having a chamfer section formed at the point section, is inserted and positioned, and end surface controlling rings 19 and 20 are arranged on both end sections. In this state of condition, pressure is applied from all directions, a protruding section 13b is formed by deforming the end section of the armature winding 13 and the commutator 14 is held by the section 13b. Subsequently, the armature is taken out from the die 22, the collar 16a of an armature segment is fused by irradiating a laser beam and it is electrically connected with the fused armature winding.
