Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make laser radiation easy, and to make connection between portions having difference in level and having divergence in position easy, by a method wherein an auxiliary line having a trapezoid-shape virtually and a hollow in the center of the bottom is provided between edge surfaces of an inner layer and an outer layer, and is welded by laser. CONSTITUTION:A virtually trapezoid-shaped auxiliary line 5 is formed so that it has a hollow in the center of the bottom, and has inclined surfaces extending from the hollow to both lower sides. The auxiliary line 5 is provided between end surfaces of conductors of an inner layer 1 and an outer layer 2 of an armature winding. The line 5 is then welded to the end surface of the conductor, by radiating laser beam to both sides, while pressing the end surface side by the pressure P. In this structure, the laser can be readily radiated, as both sides of the auxiliary line 5 are inclined. Further, the connection can be performed readily, when there is difference is level or divergence in position between the inner layer 1 and the outer layer 2.
