Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent a coreless coil from being exposed and raise the quality of a coreless wound armature, by molding the coreless coil with a prescribed compound resin. CONSTITUTION:A self-fuse-bonding electric wire is wound by a prescribed quantity. The wound wire is treated with heat or a solvent, thereby making the coreless coil 1. The coil 1, a commutator 2 and a shaft 3 are integrally molded with the compound resin in a metal mold so that a rigid armature is manufactured. The compound resin comprises a prescribed quantity of a hardened thermosetting resin 8 which is solid or like putty at room temperature and a prescribed quantity of an inorganic or organic substrate or a prepreg. The compound resin is shaped to a prescribed form. The shaped compound resin is used to mold the coil. The coil is thus prevented from being exposed when it is molded. Therefore, the coreless wound armature of high quality is obtained.
