Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of cover member for a push-button switch, with which a sense of hard touch of finger is obtained and a large degrees of freedom is obtained at the time of setting impact resilient characteristic.
SOLUTION: A rigid resin sheet 50A of a thermoplastic resin, such as polyvinyl chloride resin, is formed with a light shielding colored layer 56, and this light-proof colored layer 56 is punched into a letter shape or the like by laser beam, so as to form a punched part 57a, and thereafter, a translucent colored layer 58 is formed on the punched part 57a for overlap so as to form a display unit 57. The display unit 57 is cooled, and while the periphery of the display unit 57 is heated, a key top 52 is formed by pressure forming so that the display unit 57 is formed in the inner bottom surface thereof by swelling. Furthermore, the key top 52 is formed with notches 53 in the periphery thereof except for one part thereof so as to form a top sheet 50. On the other hand, a cover base body of silicon rubber composition having a movable projecting part is formed by compression forming, and a top surface of the movable projecting part of the cover base body is coated with the adhesive agent, and the key top 52 is fitted on the movable projecting part, so that the inner bottom surface of the key top 52 and the top surface of the movable projecting part are adhered to each other for fixation, and the cover base body and the top sheet 50 are assembled for forming a cover member.
