PURPOSE: To facilitate manufacture, and the maintain the quality of insulation by stacking doughnut-shaped bushing type current trnsformers (BCT) through a soft insulating material impregnated with a resin and curing the resin.
CONSTITUTION: The torus-shaped BCTs 1 are placed on insulating plates 2, spacers 7 are arranged into the clamping hole sections of the insulating plates 2, felts 6a impregnated with the resin are inserted and filled into clearances, and tabular felts 6b impregnated with the resin are placed on the upper surfaces of the BCTs 1. The BCTs 1 are stacked at three steps, and clamped by bolts 4. The resin is left as it is when it cures at the normal temperature, and heated and cured when it cures thermally, and the device is completed. Since the felts impregnated with the resin have proper elasticity, a compressive force does not apply even when the BCTs are clamped strongly by the through bolts 4, and the insulating layers of the BCTs 1 are not damaged and insulation resistance is not lowered.
