PURPOSE: To improve appearance and quality by inserting the groove moldings of a seat cover adsorbed to a lower die into clips, pressing them to protruded stripes, overlapping a mold pad on the seat cover, fastening them by pressure, extracting the clips, and melting and sticking an adhesive with steam.

CONSTITUTION: The groove moldings 6 of a seat cover 5 adsorbed to the molding 1a of a lower die 1 are overlapped on protruded stripes 3 of the molding 1a, the groove moldings 6 are inserted into clips 7 and pressed to the protruded stripes 3. A mold pad 8 coated with an adhesive 9 on the surface is overlapped on the seat cover 5, they are fastened by pressure between the lower die 1 and an upper die 4, then the clips 7 are extracted. Steam is fed on the molding 1a to melt the adhesive 9, and the seat cover 5 is stuck to the mold pad 8. The groove moldings 6 can be closely stuck from the base end sections to the tip sections of the protruded stripes 3, and such trouble can be resolved that part of the groove moldings 6 is stuck while being separated from the protruded stripes 3.
