PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for manufacturing with high productivity a decorative inorganic molded product of high design properties and mechanical strength and superior resistance to water, resistance to heat, fire-retardant properties and resistance to flame.
SOLUTION: A decorative inorganic molded product manufacturing method comprises, for instance, a process for obtaining a curing composition containing 100 pts.wt. acid metal phosphate, 80-200 pts.wt. curing agent of an acid metal sulfate and 0.1-10 pts.wt. urea, a process for obtaining a molding material by compounding 100 pts.wt. curing composition with 5-100 pts.wt. inorganic reinforcing material, a process for molding a molding material into a desired shape to obtain a semi-cured material and a process for laminating a sheet-shaped decorative material formed mainly of a thermosetting resin with the semi-cured material and then heating a laminate thus formed at the 120°C or higher in the state of laminating both together to complete the curing of the semi-cured material and integrating a decorative material with the semi-cured material after being cured.
