PURPOSE: To make obtainable the clearly etched decorative laminated sheet, by making good the sticking of the etching resist and the etching liquid previously removing greases and other foreign matters sticking on the surface of the metallic layer.

CONSTITUTION: On the core layer 3 is placed the pattern paper 4 or the ground paper, on which the metallic layer 1 is placed; these are hot-press formed into a laminated sheet; the surface of the metallic layer 1 of this laminated sheet is polished by buff-sanding for removing greases and other foreign matters; after that, the surface is further cleaned using the solvent. Next, this surface is printed with the resist ink, and is treated by etching for removing the unprinted metallic layer; after that, the water washing is carried out. Then, the buff-polishing is applied upon the surface of the patterned metallic layer from which greases and other foreign matters are removed away; after that, the pickling is applied for roughing the surface, and the coloring 6 due to the sulfurization is applied; and then, the surface polishing, water washing and drying are successively carried out; finally, the clear coating 7 is applied upon the surface and is heated for hardening; hereby, the beautifully etched decorative laminated metallic sheet is obtained.
