To obtain a porous decorative plate which enables easy and reliable transfer of a transfer sheet even when it has a three-dimensional indented surface and which not only causes no exfoliation of an overlay resin coat layer or a pattern layer, but also has high design properties.
A transfer sheet S which is provided with a pattern layer and also a hot-melt type adhesive layer, if needed, on one surface of a substrate 1 in this sequence, the pattern layer containing a binder, an organic pigment, a coloring agent selected from inorganic pigments and an extender pigment of 0.1-20 pts.wt. to 1 pt.wt. of the binder, is prepared, and the transfer sheet S is disposed for a porous plate such as a porous inorganic plate B so that the pattern layer side thereof faces the plate. Then, solid particles P are made to collide with the substrate side of the transfer sheet S, and by utilizing the pressure of collision thereof, the pattern layer of the transfer sheet S and also the hot-melt type adhesive layer, in the case of being provided, are transferred onto the porous inorganic plate B. Subsequently, a curable type resin liquid is applied on the porous inorganic plate from above the transferred pattern layer.
