Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing efficiently a decorative sheet of extremely high design properties on which desired patterns are formed only on large projected sections of a decorative sheet base with its surface having large recesses and projections and also fine recesses and projections on the large projected sections.
SOLUTION: A prime coat layer 12 is formed on the whole surface of a decorative sheet base 21 with its surface having large recesses and projections and also fine recesses and projections only on the projected sections, and bonding layers 23 are formed only on projected sections of the large recesses and projections, on which a transfer sheet is set and pressed by a flexible hot roll for transfer, and after the transfer, a base sheet 11 of the transfer sheet is released and printed layers 13 of the transfer sheet are transferred only onto the projected sections of the large recesses and projections. Among other things, a bonding agent is applied only on large projected sections by screen printing or by using a roll coater.
