To realize the expression of the grain pattern peculiar to broadleaf tree by a method wherein a laminated flitch, which is produced by laminating a large number of assemblies formed by nearly alternately combining spring wood dyeing veneer with summer wood dyeing veneer and then bending so as to realize the desired grain pattern and integrally form, is sliced.

Spring wood dyeing veneer 1 dyed in spring wood color and summer wood dyeing veneer 2, which is dyed in summer wood color and on which a large number of small holes are formed at random, are laminated nearly alternately through adhesive such as urethane or the like and integrally formed so as to produce laminated flitch 4 curved in order to realize the desired grain pattern. Further, by slicing the laminated flitch 4, broadleaf tree-like decorative veneers 5 are obtained. Concretely, in the decorative veneer 5, the portion of small holes 5 provided on the summer wood dyeing veneer 2 reveals itself as the interruption of summer wood color of grain, while the remaining portion of summer wood color of grain looks externally like the tracheas of thin tube, resulting in expressing the broadleaf tree-like grain pattern.
