Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a manufacturing method of diazonium salt-containing microcapsule, to which longer shelf life can be given, and fixing type heat- sensitive recording material, in which the microcapsules are employed.
CONSTITUTION: Microcapsule wall is formed by polymerizing multivalent isocyanate compound under the condition that diazonium salt compound and the multivalent isocyanate compound-containing organic solvent solution are emulsified in water-soluble polymer solution. In this case, as emulsifying aid at the emulsification, formalin condensation product of aromatic sulfonic acid salt or formalin condensation product of aromatic carboxylic acid salt is added.
