Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide the dimming liquid crystal sheet which provides excellent transparency when 100V haze is <=10% and becomes very turbid in white when 0V haze is >=90% while liquid crystal drops formed in a liquid crystal layer by phase separation have about 0.8-1mum particle size. CONSTITUTION:When photosetting liquid crystal containing resin liquid which is interposed between two transparent electrode films or applied to one transparent electrode film is set by light irradiation, the temperature condition is set below upper-limit temperature which is 20 deg.C higher than the phase separation temperature of the liquid crystal containing resin liquid and the deposition of liquid crystal by the phase separation is started in an early stage of photosetting reaction to sufficiently grow the liquid crystal drops until the photosetting reaction ends.
