Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method by which a disk for an automobile wheel can be formed with a load smaller than heretofore by rock forming and spinning.
SOLUTION: A basic shape of a disk consisting of a hub hole 12a, a hub attaching part 12, a radius part 14 and a side wall part 16 is made of a cylindrical base ring. In such a case, with respect to the distribution of the plate thickness in the cylindrical base ring, a part corresponding to the hub attaching part 12 is formed so as to be gradually thinner from the radius part 14 toward the direction of the hub hole 12a, and the side wall part 16 is formed thinner than the radius part 14.
