Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an input/output disk of a troidal continuously variable transmission capable of surely forming the input/ output disk of excellent service life without reducing the service life of the die, and suppressing sharp raise of the production cost.
SOLUTION: A work as a stock is heated to the temperature suitable for the forging (S1). The work is press-forged using a firs die to form the work having a part corresponding to a projecting part of an input/output disk (S2). The work is press-forged using a second die to form the work having a hole corresponding to a fitting hole of the input/output disk (S3). The work is press- forged using a third die to form the work having a part corresponding to a skirt part of the input/output disk (S4). The work is punched and cut to obtain the input/output disk (S5).
