Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter element which consists of ceramic material provided integrally with a filter layer on one side face of a porous supporting body, and in which there is no close intermediate layer in a boundary of a joined part between the porous supporting body and the filter layer, and having low pressure loss and less clogging.
SOLUTION: Ceramic fine particles constituting a filter layer are conveyed to one side face of a porous supporting body 11 through an air current to stick them to the one side face, and also by giving moisture to the stuck fine particles to adsorb them on the one side face of the porous supporting body 11, the fine particles are aggregated mutually and moderately to stick them in a secondary particle state and also the fine particles are prevented from entering pores of the porous supporting body 11 to prevent the formation of a close intermediate layer.
