Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain manufacture of a steel elasto-plastic damper composed of a hourglass-shaped or conical damper main body, and a base plate expanded to an outer periphery of an end of the damper main body, which is especially effective for eliminating oscillation energy.
CONSTITUTION: In order to produce an elastic plastic damper, a hourglass-shaped or conical damper main body 1 and a base plate 2 made of the same material as the damper main body 1 are previously independently prepared. They are then integrated with each other by welding 4.
