PURPOSE: To improve the operability and reliability of the connection of terminal parts whose pitch and pattern are fine by forming the electrode terminals of two elements to be connected electrically in a previously short-circuited pattern, and disconnecting a prescribed part of the short-circuited pattern with laser light after those elements are connected electrically.
CONSTITUTION: For example, an electrode terminal 20 which is formed integrally with the wiring electrodes 11 of a circuit component 13 is formed in a serial successive pattern 21 and short-circuited. Then the laser light is projected on the prescribed part 23 of the pattern 21 to connect prescribed electrodes among electrodes 20 and 22 electrically. Then, when a film substrate 10 is left up to the electrode terminal 20, the prescribed part of the pattern 21 and film substrate 10 are both burnt and cut finally with the laser light. Consequently, variance in the area of the connection of the wiring electrode 11 and a conductive electrode 4 due to pitch deviation between the electrode terminals 20 and 22 is reduced, and consequently the reliability is improved.
