Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the sealing performance, abrasion resistance, and heat resistance of an electrode section by assembling an electrode member of an unsintered body made of a material having the sintering temperature near that of the material of a tube into part of an unsintered tube molding made of only an insulating material, and integrally sintering them.
CONSTITUTION: The tube 1 of an electromagnetic flow mater is made of a sintered body, and an electrode 2 made of a conducting sintered body is integrally buried in the tube wall of the tube 1. The inner face of the electrode 2 is arranged in the same cylinder face as the inner face of the tube 1, and the face of the electrode 2 connected to the inner face of the tube 1 is neither protruded nor recessed from the inner face of the tube 1. An electrode extraction section 10 extracting a measured signal from the electrode 2 to an external circuit is formed into a belt shape by metallization on the tube 1 of nonconducting ceramic and an electrode exposure section connected to it. When the sintering temperature of an electrode member is near that of the ceramic of a conducting member, the tube 1 assembled with the unsintered molding section of the electrode section into part of unsintered molding of the tube 1 is put in a sintering furnace, and they are integrally sintered and molded.
