Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a method for manufacturing an emboss roll in which large uneven patterns or fine uneven patterns, various geometric endless uneven patterns or irregular uneven patterns, and a recessed line part conformed to a printing pattern can be easily formed at high precision on the roll surface.
CONSTITUTION: The step for coating a roll 10 with a photosensitive layer 20, exposing and developing it with laser followed by etching, and peeling a resist 22 is repeated in plural times to form a recessed part 11 having terraced side wall parts 11a. This is subjected to etching, sand blasting, or liquid horning to remove edges 11a'.
