Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an extra fine metal bar for chamfering an end to be machined so that the whole may be of an uniform diameter.
SOLUTION: An extra fine metal bar 1 of a specific length and a diameter is first somewhat ground to a required diameter by a grinding machine. Both ends of the metal bar 1 are then cut off at a position where the diameter is the same as that in the center and the central part is cut into equal length. Thereafter, the ends of each bar shape body 1a cut off are chamfered.
