Title:
MANUFACTURE OF FE-CO ALLOY SOFT MAGNETIC MATERIAL SINTERED BODY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH02125835
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To manufacture a sintered material having soft magnetic characteristics equal to those of a smelted material by compacting Co-contg. Fe powder, sintering it, subjecting the sintered body to heat treatment and thereafter gradually cooling it at a specific cooling speed.

CONSTITUTION: Powder constituted of, by weight, 40 to 60% Co and the balance substantial Fe is compacted and is sintered at about 1100 to 1450°C. The sintered body is then subjected to heat treatment in the range of about 700 to 800°C. The sintered body is then gradually cooled at ≤50°C/min cooling speed. The grain size of the starting material powder is preferably regulated to about 45μm. In this way, the soft magnetic material having high magnetic flux density, low coercive force and high magnetic permeability can be obtd.
