Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a method wherein an Fe-Co-based magnetically soft powder whose saturation flux density is high is massproduced at low costs.

CONSTITUTION: The manufacturing method of an Fe-Co-based magnetically soft powder is as follows: a nitriding-treated Fe powder whose main textures are an α-Fe phase and a -Fex N phase (where x=2 to 3) is mixed with a pure Co powder or an Fe-Co alloy powder so as to become (Fe1-αCoα)1-βNβ (where α=0.05 to 0.6 and β=-0.05 to 0.15 in terms of their mole ratio); and an obtained mixed powder is mixed and crushed while high energy is being applied.
