To solve the clogging of the dehydrating holes and drainage grooves of a dehydrating pressing machine so as to realize a stable dehydrating pressing of a water-containing sheet over a long period of time, by a method wherein a dehydrating pressing is executed in the state that a multi-layered fabric made of fiber aggregate, in which the diameter of the woof intersecting with the carrying direction of the water-containing sheet in some layers of the water-containing sheet is finer than the diameter of the woof of its other layers, is applied beneath the water-containing sheet.
A water-containing sheet 1, which is made out of a cementbased slurry by a paper-making method, a mold-casting method or the like, is carried to a dehydratingly pressing machine 2 so as to be pressed between a mold 3 beneath a pressing bodys 4 and a dehydrating perforated plate 6 above a plate 5 with drainage groove in order to dehydrate the water contents excessive for hardening. At that time, a multilayered fabric 7 woven out of a fiber aggregate, in which the diameter of the woof intersecting with the carrying direction of the watercontaining sheet is finer than the diameter of the woof its other layer, is applied beneath the water-containg sheet 1. In the multilayered fabric 7, fibers, which are comparatively stronger, arranged horizontally, has a large surface area and is as finer as possible, are employed. The multi-layered fabric 7 has a high cleanability, fully ensures the yield of a slurry at its dehydratingly pressing, is excellent in durability and can be stably used over a long period of time.
