Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability, handling, and strength of repairing/ reinforcement by a method in which reinforcing fibers are arranged in one direction on one side of a net fabric reinforcing fiber support which is impregnat ed with a thermoplastic resin and dried, adjusted uniformly, and fusion-bonded by heating and pressing. SOLUTION: Reinforcing fibers 11 are arranged in one direction on one side of a net fabric reinforcing fiber support 10 which is impregnated with a thermoplastic resin and dried, adjusted uniformly, and fusion-bonded by heating and pressing to form a fiber reinforced sheet for repairing and reinforcing a concrete structure. In this process, the support 10 is made by a method in which a thermoplastic resin is impregnated with organic fibers having good resistance such as carbon fibers and glass fibers or thermoplastic fibers and dried or a thermoplastic fiber fabric. Accordingly, since all the inside structure of the support 10 and the reinforcing fibers 11 is kept non-curable and in a non-adhesion state, when a room temperature curing liquid resin is applied, the resin penetrates promptly, uniformly, and completely between the reinforcing fibers 11 to demonstrate strong adhesive force.
