PURPOSE: To inexpensively obtain a fitted lid having a beautiful appearance and excellent in the strength, etc., by fitting, into a synthetic resin lid frame including a circumferential fitting section, a different type member comprising a top plate section made of paper or the like, spraying a resin adhesive, and effecting pressure molding by a core.

CONSTITUTION: To the synthetic resin lid frame A comprising the circumferential fitting section 1, a receiving edge 4, and a projected circumferential edge 3 having a recessed circumferential section 5 in the lower inside thereof is fitted the different type member B comprising a top plate section made of paper or the like. Then a suitable amount of the resin adhesive (n) is sprayed around the recessed circumferential section 5 from a feeding nozzle 6, and before the adhesive (n) is cured, the core 7 is pressed in the projected circumferential edge 3 to cause the resin adhesive (n) to flow into the recessed circumferential section 5 and to mold the surface of the adhesive (n). Accordingly, the circumferential end of the different type member B of paper or the like is covered with the resin adhesive, and welded integrally with the resin section of the lid frame A, and therefore a fitted lid can be obtained wherein the different member B with various kinds of clear print thereon is tightly joined to the lid frame A.
