PURPOSE: To improve the workability by traveling a rectangular metal wire with its winding on the outer peripheral face of a roll, peeling the insulated film at the vicinity of the winding end by a cutter, notching the winding end part as well, returning in the opposite direction to the winding direction after winding in the specific number, cutting with a notch part and making the peeling treatment and leading process as a series process.
CONSTITUTION: A cutter 15 is projected toward a roll 2 at the time when a rectangular metal wire 3 is traveled on the outer peripheral face 2a of the roll 2 and reaches a winding end part, and a V like notch part 18 is formed. Also, an edge part 14 is descended toward the roll 2 while rotating in opposition to the direction delivering the metal wire 3, peeling off an insulated film with its contact with the metal wire 3 and forming a terminal part 17b. The above- mentioned process is a case wherein the insulated film is formed at only one side of the metal wire 3, but in the case of both sides the same device as the above device may be provided with the edge 14 and a cutter 15 being arranged vice versa.
