PURPOSE: To manufacture efficiently a flat metallic tube by extremely simple installation and die stock, by drawing a round metallic tube through a prescribed flat caliber die in manufacturing a flat metallic tube.
CONSTITUTION: A round metallic tube is fed to a flat caliber die having a prescribed shape after pointing its front tip and is drawn into a flat metallic tube by holding it by a proper holding tool. A product is accurately and efficiently manufactured by a simple installation without requiring a large space, and the minimum number of dies having necessary shapes are enough for die stock. Further, the flat metallic tube can be bent by inserting it into the caliber of a pair of caliber rolls and turning one roll around the other roll.
