PURPOSE: To obtain a design with a delustered tone and a high class feeling by forming a picture pattern with an ink contg. a foam suppressing substance on the first foamable resin layer, providing furtheremore the second formable resin contg. an encapsulated foaming material wherein a volatile hydrocarbon is an enveloped substance thereon and foaming the first and the second foamable resins by heating.

CONSTITUTION: A decorative sheet wherein a base material 1 is coated with the first foamable resin layer 2 incorporated with two kinds of org. foaming agents and a picture pattern layer 3 is formed on the surface with an ink contg. a foam suppressing agent and the second foamable resin layer 4 incorporated with an encapsulated foaming agent is laminated thereon, is used. This laminated body is expanded by performing a heating treatment at a heating temp. of 150-180°C and for a heating time of 60-80sec. as the encapsulated foaming agent in the second foamable resin layer 4, the capsule is kept without escaping of the gas in the capsule to finish the foamed face into a mat tone. In addition, even if an outer force is applied, the capsule is hardly broken because of elasticity of the resin forming the capsule and it remarkably contributes to improve the surface strength.
