To enable molding by a method in which the liner, etc., of shoes or boots of a foamed resin are molded by divided molds combined with a core and removed from the core in a way to remove footwear.

In a method for making footwear of a foamed resin, divided molds 2a, 2b divided into two parts are combined outside a core 1 which is formed to match with the inside shape of the footwear, the resin is expanded between the divided molds 2a, 2b and the core 1, the divided molds 2a, 2b are separated, and a molding is extracted from the core by its elastic deformation. The foamed resin is foamed polyolefin. When the molding is extracted, gas is put between the divided molds 2a, 2b and the core 1 from a gas injection hole 4 which is formed in the core 1. The resin is expanded by a bead molding method.
