Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacture of an FRP cylinder wherein a long large aperture thin voidless FRP(fiber reinforced plastics) cylinder which is free from any void and excellent in surface smoothness without surface processing can be easily manufactured.
SOLUTION: A base material 2 and a release film 3 are successively wound on a winding form 1, which is set to a container 5. Thereafter, resin 4 is supplied to the container 5, an inside of the base material 2 is vacuum impregnated with the resin 4, and the whole is hardened. Then, an FRP cylinder main body wherein the inside of the obtained base material 2 is impregnated with the resin 4 and hardened, is separated from excess hardened resin outside the FRP cylinder main body and a release film 3 to form a voidless FRP cylinder. A notch like hole 6 of 0.5-10.0mm length is provided by a density of 0.5-5 holes/cm2 to the release film 3, and the resin 4 is permeated inside the base material 2 from a plurality of the notch like holes 6.
