Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily obtain a galvanized steel sheet free from nonplating part and excellent in the quality of the surface by annealing a siicon-contg. steel sheet stuck with carbon on the surface at a prescribed temp. and plating it by using a hot-dip zinc bath contg. Al.
CONSTITUTION: The surface of a steel sheet contg. ≥0.2wt.% Si is stuck with carbon (such as amorphous carbon-and graphite) to make the formation of an oxidized layer hard and to make its wettability better. This steel sheet is annealed at 600 to 900°C. Next, this annealed steel sheet is immersed in a hot-dip zinc bath contg. ≥0.03wt.% effective Al and is galvanized.
