Abstract:

To provide ceramic granules for forming ceramics, which have excellent flowability, packability into a metal mold, demoldability and crushability under low load, and sintered compacts with less defects using them.

A ceramic slurry is granulated by feeding it to a spray- granulator, where the temperatures of slurry inlet and granule outlet are controlled at 170-230°C and 65-125°C, respectively.
