PURPOSE: To obtain excellent dischargeability of chip so as to solve clog by electrodepositing, at desired mixture ratio, cemented carbide abrasive grains and mixed grains together to the body and forming chip spaces for discharging chips between cemented carbide abrasive grains at the upper parts of the mixed grains.
CONSTITUTION: Mixed grains 2 are arranged between cemented carbide abrasive grain 1 according to the mixture ratio and electrodeposited to the surface of the body 4 by a plating layer 4. This mixed grain 2 is equal to the cemented carbide grain 1 in grain diameter and made up by mixing sand, rock grain, glass grain, silicon carbide (SiC) abrasive grain or aluminium oxide (AlO3) abrasive grain, etc. And tooling and dressing are applied in cogrinding method with stones in the SiC group or AlO3 group to remove the parts of the mixed grains 2 which project from the plate layer 3 and thereupon chip spaces 5 are formed. In this way, excellent chip dischargeability are obtained and clog is solved and further cutting quality is improved and tool life is also lengthened.
