PURPOSE: To simplify the manufacture of a heat exchanger by providing a thin slit-like hole in a part cut off in a fin working process and simultaneously carrying out a cutting-off process and bending process with a tension force.
CONSTITUTION: A heat exchanger with fins s subjected to a working process in which a hole 3 is worked in a notch part 2 near the central from one end to provide at least two connections 4, 5 in predetermined positions in the longitudinal direction of the fin 1 and a thin slit-like hole 11 is worked in the opposite side to the notch part 2 relative to the central hole 3. A process in which after assembling the heat exchanger the upper and lower heat exchange parts 10, 11 are cut and bent at a predetermined angle to each other centering around the connection 5 between the central drilled hole 3 and notch port 2 by the use of a tension force and a connecting process in which heating piece of the upper and lower heat exchange parts 10, 11 are interconnected at the connection part 9 are employed to manufacture the heat exchanger with fins.
