Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove residual oil and fat efficiently from the inner surface of a heating tube and to form an oxide film uniformly thereon.
SOLUTION: A heating tube 3 is inserted into the hole 2 of a radiator 1 and a thermally expansive substance, e.g. nitrogen gas or water, and oxygen are encapsulated hermetically in the heating tube 3. The heating tube 3 is then heated and enlarged and the outer surface thereof is brought into tight contact with the hole 2 of the radiator 1. Consequently, residual oil and fat ore oxidized (burnt) and removed through action of oxygen under heating and an oxide film is formed uniformly on the inner surface of the heating tube 3 through oxidizing action of oxygen. According to the method, a heat-exchanger having high wettability, as a whole, can be manufactured.
