PURPOSE: To facilitate to develop the laminated body of paper and make a honeycomb type air path,not deformed, strong and stable, by a method wherein the laminated body of paper is humidified and an expanding work for forming the air path is effected under a condition that the fibers of the paper are extended.
CONSTITUTION: Adhesive agent is printed on the paper during coaters 7 make one turn, the paper passes through a drying furnace 9 and is cut by a cutting machine 10 into different two patterns while said cut paper of two patterns are laminated alternately by a laminating machine 11. The laminated body is humidified by a humidifier 16 and the fibers of the paper are extended by humidity, thereafter, the laminated body is formed into the heat exchanger unit having honeycomb type air paths by a developing process 17. The humidifying process is applied on the laminated body as described above and whereby the development of the body is easy even if the applying force thereon upon developing is small. The honeycomb type air paths are formed under a condition that the fibers of the paper are extended, the restoring force of the paper does not exist and the fibers of the paper are contracted when they are dried under this condition, therefore, strong honeycomb type air paths may be manufactured.
