PURPOSE: To provide an insulated wire the coating of which is made to be denser, and which is excellent in heat resistance, insulation, flexibility, and emits little gas by applying an organic metal compound to a conductor so as to heat and burn to form an insulation coating, and irradiating a CO2 laser beam to the insulation coating so as to heat and melt.
CONSTITUTION: Metallic salts such as Ai, Mg of organic acids such as naphthene acid, capric acid, metal compounds such as metal alcholate, metal chelate are to be applying liquid as they are, or after they are solved or dispersed in organic solution such as hydrocarbon. The applying liquid is applied to a conductor such as an Ag wire, and is burned at 200 to 1000°C so as to heat-discompose organic components. An insulation coating which is mainly composed of a metal oxide of a required thickness and is excellent in heat resistance is obtained by repeating this process several times. When a CO2 laser beam is irradiated to the coating, the coating is melted to be denser. That is, the heat resistant insulation coating which has no pin hole, is excellent in insulation and flexibility, and emits little gas can be formed.
