PURPOSE: To obtain a heat-shrinkable film with a pattern that is excellent in registrability and dimensional stability, by providing a pattern layer on a releasing layer on a substrate film, laminating a heat-shrinkable film, and then releasing the substrate film.

CONSTITUTION: A releasing layer 2 (e.g. a printed layer of an acrylic resin, etc.) is provided on a substrate film 1 (e.g. a polyethylene terepthalate film, etc.), and thereon a pattern layer 3 is provided by means of printing or the like. A metal deposited layer 4 may be provided partially or all on the pattern layer 3. Then a heat-shrinkable film 5 (e.g. a shrinkable PVC film, etc.) is provided thereon by the dry lamination. After the dry lamination, the substrate film 1 is released. A heat-shrinkable film excellent in registrability of the pattern, letters, etc. and dimensional stability can be obtained easily.
