Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably manufacture the heating body for casting having the homogeneous strength and the heating characteristic by a shell molding method.
SOLUTION: In a method, the raw material mixture consisting of, one kind, two or more kinds of powder and granular refractory material, one kind, two or more kinds of powder and granular heating substance, one kind, two or more kinds of powder and granular oxidizing agent, and one kind, two or more kinds of powder oxidation promotor, is prepared. The thermosetting phenol resin is added to and mixed with, the thermosetting phenol resin is covered on the granular surface of the raw material mixture, and the obtained thermosetting phenol resin covered raw material mixture is formed by the shell molding method into a heat generating riser sleeve, a heat generating core, a heat generating neck-down core, a heat generating mold, a heat generating pad, and a heat generating body for casting similar thereto.
