Abstract:
To provide a manufacturing method of a helmet-contained cushioning material which achieves a better adhesion between a foaming core material and a skin material and moreover, having combinedly a sufficient breathability and a cushionability.
In manufacturing a helmet-contained cushioning material, a sheet-shaped skin material 7 is disposed on the internal surface of a lower die 9a beforehand and then, an upper die 9b is closed to perform a compaction. A foamable synthetic resin solution 11 is injected to cause a foaming thereof form a resin injection port 10 provided in the upper die 9b and the skin material 7 is hardened to be contained following the internal surfaces of the upper and lower dies by a foaming pressure.
