PURPOSE: To simply manufacture a holding tool such as a three-piece plier with excellent durability by manufacturing the second lever member bored with a through hole by casting, and inserting the first lever member into the through hole of the second lever member thus obtained to assemble them.

CONSTITUTION: The first lever member 12 manufactured by casting is inserted into the through hole 16 of the second lever member 14, and the fitting section 12a of the first lever member 12 is positioned between the fitting sections 14a, 14a expanded on the second lever member 14. Correction machining is applied to the fitting sections 14a, 14a to pinch the fitting section 12a. Through holes 22, 22 aligned with the through hole 20 of the first lever member 12 are bored on the expanded fitting sections 14a, 14a of the second lever member 14, a connecting member 18 is inserted into these through holes 20, 22, 22, thereby the first and second lever members 12, 14 are rotatably fitted.
