PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a hollow cylindrical body to improve the precise processability and the productivity of parts of composite shape.
SOLUTION: A collar 2 made of stainless steel sheet is rectangular before binding. The collar 2 is formed by bending the sheet in the longitudinal direction with the width side as an axis. When a thin-walled part 2b of the collar 2 is rolled by rollers, the metal flow in the width direction is regulated by regulating rollers, and the metal flow in other directions is permitted, and the material pressed out in forming a long groove can be relieved in other direction than the width direction. The reaction to the rollers due to insufficient flow of the material to be pressed out by the force applied by the rollers is reduced, the excessive load is prevented from being applied to the rollers to form the long groove, and the rollers are prevented from being broken. The long groove having the desired depth, i.e., the thin-walled part 2b can be formed, and composite, precise working can be performed by achieving burring, etc., to the thin- walled part 2b.
